So here’s the thing about Yoga. No matter what you have heard all this while about people feeling a change in their lives post Yoga, you aren’t willing to believe it unless you have tested the waters yourself. And the second thing is that the aforementioned actually holds true. Every ounce of your body twitches and moves with every asana. What definitely holds true is the amount of flexibility that yoga brings to your body. It’s unbelievable!!
Just a few weeks back, over the course of a months’ time I can feel the difference myself. And it’s really not about yoga being a means to weight loss, sure it is but that majorly happens with diet control alongside. But primarily the fact that when after so many weeks, I come back to doing the same set of exercises; I can do it with that much more ease. I can feel my body opening up and taking one more step towards flexibility. And that feeling is remarkable. I feel so accomplished today.
Some days help you travel deep, beyond the recesses of superfluous existence. Yoga and meditation help you reconnect with your inner self, providing the much needed impetus for spiritual growth. Or even thank me later (I’m cool with that again.)
So yeah basically ditch everything else and go for Yoga!! And feel the difference for yourself. 🙂
